Key Move: Marianna Pomazkova Joins EFG Private Bank London

Marianna joins EFG Private Bank from UBS Wealth Management as a Managing Director and will lead the Russia, CIS & CEE Private Banking team out of London.

Marianna has over 22 years’ experience in financial markets from New York to London, beginning her transition to wealth management in 2009 within Credit Suisse as part of the initiative by the bank at the time to build its Family Office business. Marianna started her career as an EM bonds and then US equity derivatives trader at Morgan Stanley in New York, before moving to London with Dresdner Kleinwort in 2003. Prior to joining Credit Suisse she spent several years as a Portfolio Manager at Brevan Howard Asset Management in London responsible for an EMEA debt and equity book.

Given the growing focus of Private Banks to be relevant to the UHNW/HNW entrepreneur community, individuals with broad and, crucially, hands-on, investment backgrounds such as Marianna’s, have proven to successfully pivot into Wealth Management building longstanding relationships with UBOs while being in an unparalleled position to manage and teach a team to deliver a holistic offering to their clients.
