Key Move: Haris Sitzoglou Joins AXIA Ventures Group

Haris Sitzoglou joins AXIA Ventures Group as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division with a focus on further strengthening the firm’s presence in Greece, Cyprus as well as the wider Southern European region.

He has over 10 years of investment banking experience and was most recently an Executive Director at Credit Agricole CIB within the Leveraged Finance Group in London and Paris, having initially joined the firm in 2009 as part of the credit trading desk.

Throughout his career at Credit Agricole CIB, he has been involved in transactions of over €100bn including capital raisings, acquisition financings, LBOs and liability management exercises for family and private equity owned companies, as well as listed corporates across a broad range of sectors.

Prior to Credit Agricole CIB, Haris started his professional career as an Investment/Risk Analyst at Oakam, a VC-backed unsecured lending platform. In this role he was responsible for loan portfolio analysis and reporting, while also participating as a regular member of the Risk Committee.
