Firas Yassine Joins Citi, Dubai

Firas Yassine has joined Citi's Private Banking Department covering Kuwait UHNW clients as a Senior Vice President and will be based in Dubai

Previously based in Kuwait, Firas has joined Citi's Dubai office in order to strengthen Citi's GCC franchise, as such he will be focused on covering Citi's Kuwait UHWN clientele. Firas's hire adds to Citi's strength within the region and speaks to their enduring commitment to developing their presence across GCC

Firas has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, spending the majority of his career previous to Citi at National Bank of Kuwait within various roles

Before leaving to join Citi, Firas held the title of Senior Private Banking Manager for over 6 years where he both worked closely with the Investment Advisory team and managed a portfolio of Kuwaiti and international UHNW clients, leveraging the bank’s international network and subsidiaries to extend the reach of clients to regional and international markets

Previously, Firas was Head of Media Relations at the firm, reporting directly to the CEO's office and maintaining the company's public media presence, before which he was an Assistant Economist, joining the firm from a senior position held with Al Rai Newspaper

Mr Yassine holds a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut
