- Bulge bracket bank is looking to add a Senior Relationship Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa to their Zurich office
- Looking to hire a Senior Banker with UHNWI/HNWI/family office connectivity
- Considering candidates with more institutional experience (investment banking, capital markets, structured finance etc.) that feel they have a transferable client base from which they can onboard assets
- Focus on Nigerian, Ghanaian and Kenyan clients, additional connectivity would be welcomed

Requirements: 

  • Considering candidates with at least 8+ years of experience within an investment banking financing or coverage team, a fixed income/markets platform or a fund sales position
  • Additional candidates who have obtained significant UHNW penetration through another relationship focused role within an investment bank or buy-side institutions will be considered
  • Candidates must show high level connectivity with UHNWI/HNWIs in key countries and have a demonstrable track record of originating business from such individuals/family groups
  • A comfort level with the concept of originating assets from an existing client base who have not previously been serviced in such a manner is key

Responsibilities: 

  • Primary responsibility is origination of U/HNW clients and Net New Assets for the wealth management platform
  • Sale of advisory services and prospects across asset classes, including structured products, fixed income, currency, equities and hedge funds
  • Generate bespoke investment solutions for and provide advice to clients
  • Effectively collaborate with senior members of the department to fully utilise key relationships and build new client base through a Multi-Asset Strategy based approach to investment management
  • Closely cooperate with compliance division and ensure that all processes and standards are met and accurate
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of economic/market trends and be able to identify the key change triggers
  • Maintain a strong relationship with clients to ensure service satisfaction and meet on going requirements
  • Conduct regular appraisals of clients’ portfolios, check that investments remain within objectives and risk boundaries
