- An Emerging Markets Private Equity and Special Situations Fund is looking to add an Associate to their team in Moscow
- The ideal candidate will have 3 - 6 years of Investment Banking or Private Equity experience from top tier institutions
- Experience in the execution of M&A transactions, with an emphasis on modelling capabilities

Requirements: 

  • Outstanding financial modelling and strong analytical skills, possessing solid commercial judgement
  • Experience in the execution of M&A and financing transactions, having demonstrated the ability to take on independently leadership of deal tasks
  • Exceptionally motivated, ambitious, intellectually curious and results-focused achiever
  • Rounded personality, with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Self-starter and dynamic team player, with the potential to play a lead role as he/she progresses and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Outstanding degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics from a leading university
  • Fluency in English and Russian

Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting line to the Global Head of Private Equity and Special Situations (PESS)
  • Primarily responsible for initial analysis of opportunities, financial modelling, business case presentation to the engagement, risk and investment committees
  • Screen new investment opportunities across all relevant sectors, and build a pipeline of prospective target companies
  • Takes execution decision on selected deal work streams
  • Guide, perform, and synthesize detailed due diligence of potential investments, including management, market, product, competition, technology, legal and financial analyses
  • Takes active part in overall project management, leading the due diligence process and participating in business terms negotiations
