- Our client, an International Investment Bank, is looking to hire a Vice President to their EM FICC Sales team in New York
- The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience of selling FICC products
- The firm is looking to build and grow strategic relationships with U.S. institutional investors leveraging the firm’s Fixed Income product, and develop sales relationships to drive trading revenues

Requirements: 

  • Must have experience of selling FICC products
  • Experience of working in a firm that has not had the benefit of material balance sheet is highly desirable
  • Client friendly, professional and strong presentation and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Emerging markets product experience desirable
  • Requisite Regulatory certifications – Series 7, 63, & 24
  • Extensive knowledge of FICC products and related customers
  • Bachelor's degree in finance related discipline
  • Developed historical relationships with major institutional investors
  • Clean regulatory record with FINRA / SEC
  • Must have the ability to work and live in the United States (EAD)

Responsibilities: 

  • Building up international distribution products within the UK and Europe for institutional clients
  • International Sales within the Debt Product Group, responsible for distribution of FICC products
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients of the firm
  • Grow franchise for the firm with all FICC products to hedge fund and long only investors
  • Knowledge of emerging market Sovereign and Corporate bonds – hard currency and local currency
  • Experience in Emerging market High yield stories
  • Work as a team with equity and investment banking colleagues to co-market and cross sell and place product
