- A bulge bracket bank with a leading wealth management franchise is seeking a Cluster Head to join and manage their UAE Private Banking team based out of Zurich
- Candidates must have an existing book of clients which they could bring in addition to experience managing a team of Private Banking professionals

Requirements: 

  • Candidate with substantial experience in a relationship management position within the private banking sector
  • A longstanding track record of servicing Emirati UHNW/HNW clients with a proven performance in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation for said clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain business relationships with new and existing business partners
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact at all levels of business efficiently
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and products
  • Possess business vision and ability to strategise as well as prioritise work objectives
  • Capable of conducting effective sales management and profit centre management
  • Keeps abreast of new laws and regulations related to private banking and significantly contribute to the bank’s regulatory environment

Responsibilities: 

  • Grow revenue and increase AUM of the team both personally and through management of their team
  • Lead, coach and supervise relationship managers and investment advisors, fostering a team culture to cultivate and deepen client relationships
  • Responsible for the revenue generation of the division and lead the relationship managers in acquiring new assets for the bank
  • Ensure that the private banking business model is successfully implemented
  • Represent the bank and promote the wealth management and private banking services it offers
  • Ensure that client relationships are developed and maintained in an efficient, ethical and compliant manner leading to high levels of customer satisfaction and enhance the brand and reputation of the firm
  • Maintain highest standard of excellence in client service across the team and with individual portfolio through a range of initiatives
  • Ensure the team is collaborating with other functions, products and services for the client
  • Take business decisions relating to clients' regulatory, tax, liquidity and estate planning activities
