Associate/Analyst, Structured Transactions Group, Bulge Bracket Bank, London

- Seeking to add an Associate/Analyst to join the Structured Transactions Group which executes institutional financing transactions from within the private bank
- Wealth management platform has taken on responsibility for executing both large- and mid-cap business
- Role will provide exposure to both emerging and developed markets

Requirements: 

• 2 – 4 years of solid execution experience from a top tier financial institution, in Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors, M&A, and/or Structured Finance
• Experience of conducting due-diligence, credit analysis, pricing and term sheet preparation, documentation and pitch book preparation
• Familiarity with structuring and executing complex investment banking transactions
• Strong valuation skills, an exceptional academic track record and excellent team player

Responsibilities: 

• Creating and analysing financial models, performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives
• Organising and preparing presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals
• Responsibility for execution of M&A and financing transactions to meet client goals
• Providing analysis and technical data to support underwriting decisions for the group
• Providing analysis on pricing and execution strategy for primary financings
• Participation in the building and leveraging of prior relationships with corporate clients and UHNW individuals
• Working closely with other parts of the bank to provide advice for clients
