- Part of a wider team build out in Riyadh for institution with existing pipeline of transactions in the GCC
- Role will provide exposure to the execution of mandates within the private sector as well as privatisation processes related to Vision 2030

Requirements: 

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a financial services organisation, ideally as part of a sector group or coverage team, with significant M&A & ECM transaction exposure
  • Proven working knowledge of a wide range of products and how they meet the needs of the client
  • Experienced at client planning and coordinating input from multiple product areas
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and collectively within a team
  • Strong valuation skills and an exceptional academic record
  • Insightful, reasoned and a self-starter with a rigorous eye to detail
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate work of analysts
  • Fluent in Arabic & English

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversight of valuation and technical analysis, process management, idea generation, development, screening, presentation and the overall evaluation of investment and acquisition ideas
  • Shared responsibility of the execution of transactions and running deals, including cross-sector M&A & ECM transactions, as well as financing related opportunities
  • Overall co-ordination of deals and assignments, across the bank’s internal teams and external parties (e.g. client, lawyers, consultants)
  • Supervision of junior bankers in day to day tasks and projects
  • Liaise with and manage client expectations throughout the deal process
  • Examine the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing purposes
  • Attend client meetings
