- An energy, power and renewables holding company is looking to add an Associate to their financing team to support senior members of the team on a range of debt financing activities, including corporate, acquisition and project financing
- The role would also include supporting the Investor Relations team in their management of relationships with debt and equity investors as well as credit rating agencies


  • 3 to 6 years of total work experience in a financial institution or the finance function of a corporate with a focus on debt financing
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills backed up by excellent communication (both written and verbal)
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to work well in a culturally diverse environment
  • Strong interest in energy, power and infrastructure sectors
  • Highly proficient with Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs
  • Written and verbal fluency in English; ability to work in other languages is a positive (especially French, Spanish or Portuguese)
  • Should be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline


  • Financial modelling and cash flow analysis associated with the existing portfolio, growth projects (M&A and greenfield developments) and corporate capital structure
  • Preparation of materials and analysis for debt financing transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda related to growth projects
  • Support the structuring and negotiation of debt financing transactions
  • Manage due diligence processes related debt financing transactions
  • Analysis of debt financing transactions and KPIs of comparable companies
  • Participate in meetings with banks, advisors and other key internal / external stakeholders
  • Support the Investor Relations team in their ongoing communications with investors and credit rating agencies
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for investors or credit rating agencies (periodic update calls/meetings and special projects)
  • Other general financial and transaction analysis and other responsibilities as may be required from time to time
