Work closely with the origination team to build out the international distribution to North American institutional clients International Sales with a focus on the distribution of exotic FICC and private debt products
Ability to cultivate and attract new clients and maintain existing clients; strong existing personal and professional relationships with relevant clients a prerequisite
Contribute to development and extension of cross product and cross asset class expertise and knowledge
Grow franchise for the firm within North American FICC and Private Credit investors
Experience in articulating Emerging & Frontier Markets High yield stories
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments at key customers and role players, and ensure that the broader business remains updated on changes and well positioned to provide accurate and competitive services
Continuously monitor own service levels and implement strategic measures to improve customer satisfaction and overall profitability
Collegiate attitude to work well & collaboratively with European Sales desk
Participation in the platform's international franchise through the origination and execution of deals, building and leveraging prior relationships with global FICC clients and additional marketing activities
The ideal candidate will have an extensive track record of originating transactions within a global emerging markets context within relevant product silos
Our client, is looking to hire a Associate/Analyst to their Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales team in London
The ideal candidate should have 2 – 5 years of experience of selling Fixed Income products
They should also have a strong core client group in a relevant region or investor cluster (e.g. London, Switzerland, France and or Germany in terms of geographical focus; hedge fund, institutional or private banks in terms of investor groups)
Can grow and expand the client base beyond the core group
