- Bulge bracket bank with a strong wealth management franchise looking to add a Vice President to their wealth management platform for Russian speaking clients out of Vienna
- Focus on hiring a Vice President in the HNW segment or with access to the entrepreneur community, with a primary focus on clients across Russia and the CIS
- The successful candidate must have experience in private banking/wealth management, and a proven track record in relationship management, new business development, client acquisition and revenue generation

Requirements: 

  • Candidates with at least 6 years of experience in private banking, an investment banking coverage team, or who have obtained significant client penetration through another relationship focused role within an investment bank or buy-side institution
  • Candidates must show high level connectivity with HNWIs across Russia and the CIS, and have a demonstrable track record of originating business from such individuals
  • A comfort level with the concept of originating assets from a client base who have not previously been serviced in such a manner is key
  • Fluency in Russian is a requirement

Responsibilities: 

  • Primary responsibility is origination of net new assets for the Wealth Management platform from a Russian speaking client base brought in by the candidate
  • Sale of advisory services and prospects across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currency, hedge funds and structured products
  • Generate bespoke investment solutions and advise HNW clients
  • Effectively collaborate with senior members of the Private Banking department to fully utilise key relationships and build new client base through a Multi-Asset Strategy based approach to investment management
  • Closely cooperate with compliance division and ensure that all processes and standards are met and accurate
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of economic / market trends and be able to identify the key change triggers
  • Maintain a strong relationship with clients to ensure service satisfaction and meet on going requirements
  • Conduct regular appraisals of clients’ portfolios, check that investments remain within objectives and risk boundaries
