Associate/Analyst, Israeli Coverage, Bulge Bracket Investment Bank, Tel Aviv

- Our client, a bulge bracket investment bank, is seeking to expand its Israel Coverage platform
- Looking to add an Associate/Analyst to their team in Tel Aviv to support their execution & origination capabilities
- Fluency in Hebrew would be beneficial

Requirements: 

• The ideal candidate should have 2 – 5 years of solid execution experience from a leading investment bank or independent advisory firm
• Experience in all aspects of M&A, ECM and DCM transactions from, and able to demonstrate a strong track record within this space
• Experienced at client planning and coordinating input from multiple product areas
• Knowledge and experience of working within Israel would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills at all organisational levels. Ability to present information in a clear, creative and persuasive manner
• Analytical. Assimilating new information quickly and relating it to the needs of the client base
• Organizational. Managing demands from several sources and working to deadlines
• Proactive. Identifying situations that could result in new business and developing tailored recommendations to the client
• Ability to supervise and coordinate work of junior analysts
• Educated to degree level with a minimum grade of 2:1 (or equivalent experience); MBA qualification or advanced degree would be highly advantageous (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities: 

• Working with group MDs, Directors and VPs on managing relationships with clients and client liaison
• Execution of cross-sector M&A, ECM & DCM transactions
• Coverage of companies in Israel and internationally
• Primary responsibility for technical analysis and valuation, presentations, process management, idea generation, development, screening, and evaluation of investment and acquisition ideas
• Manage client expectations throughout the deal process
• Manage junior team members in day to day tasks and projects
• Assist with strategic and financial analyses and preparation of pitch documentation and company valuations
• Build advanced financial valuation models
• Examine the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing purposes
• Attend client meetings with senior bankers
• Mentor analysts, provide detailed guidance and feedback, as well as manage information flow
