Head of Equity Sales Trading, Leading Russian Brokerage, London
A leading Russian brokerage is looking for a Head of Equity Sales Trading to help leverage its strong existing domestic franchise and build a successful international distribution platform in LondonRequirements:
- Strong Pre-existing and transferable client base
- 10+years sales trading experience in reputable financial institutions
- Strong knowledge of CIS equity markets
- Client driven and able to work under pressure
- Formation and implementation of business strategy and directly driving cash equity distribution through the development of a strong platform from which to execute trades to funds, family offices and international clients
- Ensuring the cultivation of strong relationships with clients: Global Institutional, EM dedicated, Hedge Funds, Proprietary books
- Overseeing the feeding of trading ideas and interpreting precisely investment opinions of research reports to the clients
- Daily responsibilities include: giving morning rundowns to clients, keeping client base apprised of current CIS events both macro and micro, provide daily bids and offers and daily liaison with various clients
- Maintaining and increasing trading with existing house accounts and proactively prospect for new trading clients
- Work closely with the Institutional Sales Team to identify equities trading opportunities for the clients
- Channel market information to the clients in a timely manner
