Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager, Buy-Side Special Situations Fixed Income Fund, London
Broad investment focus including event-driven opportunities such as merger arbitrage and corporate restructurings, distressed debt, relative value investments, and outright shorts/longsResponsibilities:
- Exploring fundamentally driven, market-neutral equities opportunities in EMEA (Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia, Turkey, Sub-Saharan Africa)
- Assist the EM fixed income portfolio in sourcing, analyzing and executing equity-linked fixed income transactions in Turkey, Georgia and the Ukraine
- Assessing and implementing investment strategies in the equity and debt markets, new idea-generation, devising appropriate hedges and/or complimentary derivative strategies as well as trade execution and position management. EM Language skill set preferable
