IBD, VP, Natural Resources, Top Tier Investment Bank, Moscow
Top Tier Investment Bank with a strong emerging market franchise is seeking to expand its Investment Banking industry expertise and add an experienced VP to its regional team to support origination and executionRequirements:
- The ideal candidates may have 5 - 8 years of solid execution experience from a leading investment bank
- Coverage of clients in oil & gas (upstream and downstream), metals & mining (gold, coal, diamonds, diversified) and/or chemicals (fertilizers, derivatives & oleo chemicals)
- Experience in preparing presentations and marketing materials including, internal committee memos, client pitch books, and board presentations
- Ability to work closely with the CFO on the financials
- Prior involvement in advisory of Russian corporates on valuations in the context of acquisition or sale. Building of extensive operating and valuation analysis and engagement in negotiations
- Management of the process with the counter-side, leading the due diligence and building a detailed covenant model
- Fluency in Russian is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Investment Banking, Russia
- Execution of Russia-originated IPO and M&A projects and coverage of blue-chip Russian corporate clients
- Coverage of companies in the broader CIS
- Substantial client management interaction, including presentations, strategy development, internal planning and social outings
- Primary responsibility for technical analysis and valuation, presentations, process management, idea generation, development, screening, and evaluation of investment and acquisition ideas
