Vice President, MENA Equity Sales, Bulge Bracket Investment Bank, Dubai

A top tier Investment Bank, with an exceptional MENA franchise is seeking to expand its MENA Equity Sales Team to contribute to the growth of P&L and strengthening of Company’s international and regional franchise

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops the company's clients' base by effective working with current and bringing in new clients regional / domestic funds, family offices and international clients
  • Ensures that all assigned clients are promptly informed about all available Company's products and services
  • Builds and maintains strategic working relationships with MENA corporates
  • Arrange and participate in thematic investor trips across MENA
  • Work with Equity Research on creating product best-suited for client needs and facilitating Capital Markets on placing IPOs, secondaries & blocks
  • Provides accurate monthly sales forecasts by product, by client, in accordance with the internal planning system
  • Responsible for analysis of sales information and data by value / volume / product
  • Maintains continuous feedback to line manager, in particular feedback on opportunities and issues arising during the work, and especially competitive presence and actions
  • Maintains accurate sales records for all assigned clients, and all the sales-related documentation

      • Organize and participate in analyst and management road-shows, country conferences, events featuring government officials, as well as informal client gatherings

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the MENA market/s essential
  • Experience of broking an EM/MENA product
  • Contacts within GEM/MENA/International focused Institutional and Hedge Fund Clients
  • University degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting
  • 3+ years of broking experience
  • Fluent English
  • Arabic Language skill set is preferable but not essential
