Description:
A premier financial institution headquartered in Doha – Qatar, with local and international Sharia’a compliant investment banking operations is seeking to expand with the addition of experienced corporate financiers to support the origination of its business.

The expansion is part of a larger build which will encompass a Principal Investment and an Asset management business both public and private, structured along the lines of an
international investment bank. The operation has locked in capital seeded by some of the largest financial institutions in the region. Management is of international caliber with a track record of building and managing successful businesses.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may have 8+ years experience gained at a top tier buyside institution / special situations / principal investments team of a sell side institution with experience in building and managing teams
• A proven track record in Emerging Markets focused funds
• Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not a prerequisite
• Individuals with no experience in the MENSA region but with dedicated buyside experience WILL NOT be considered
• Individuals with experience exclusively from sell side institutions and no track record of assessing or taking risk/ making investments WILL NOT be considered
• Individuals with experience in the MENSA region and a track record of assessing or taking risk / making investments but no experience in building and managing teams WILL be considered
