Description:
A premier local financial institution with one of the largest asset management arms in KSA is seeking to expand its IBD team. The bank has a decades-long established corporate banking franchise and a solid foundation in investment banking in a rapidly developing market for investment banking services and private equity. As part of the expansion of its investment banking and private equity teams the bank is seeking to add experienced associate level corporate financiers.

While the KSA market represents over 60% of the economic activity in the Gulf region, it is underbanked, providing opportunities as deal flows are undercovered. The position provides candidates with the opportunity of accelerated advancement by joining the team at the initial build stage. This is a Riyadh based role.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may be flexible to be based in Riyadh, KSA
• 4+ years experience gained at a top tier sell side institution / top ranked local investment bank / management consulting with solid experience within a specific sector / product in corporate finance advisory
• Proven corporate finance TRACK RECORD within relevant sector / product
• Exposure to international deals and consolidated international execution work experience
• Knowledge of the MENA / GCC markets is not a prerequisite
• Experience in Sharia’a compliant products is a plus
• Fluency in Arabic is preferable but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Extensive exposure to a variety of investment banking and private equity tasks in an emerging market environment (modelling, generation of client analysis and material, due diligence, prospectus drafting, coverage, transaction execution responsibility, etc) across a full spectrum of products (M&A, Equity and Fixed Income, including Islamic / Sharia’a-compliant bonds – Sukuk)
