Description:
An international bulge bracket with a developed multi asset class emerging markets / MENA / GCC presence and an existing fully fledged MENA / GCC investment banking platform in Dubai is seeking to expand with the addition of an experienced corporate financier to support its existing Abu Dhabi coverage effort.

The bank has an established clientele and a track record in corporate finance advisory in the region.

The role involves execution of deals originated within the bank’s existing Abu Dhabi client spectrum, while monitoring and leading the execution operations. The individual will be based in Dubai, working closely with and directly reporting to the Head of Abu Dhabi Coverage who has established longstanding relationships within Corporate / Financial Institutions / SWF clients in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may have 6+ years experience gained at a top tier sell side institution / top ranked local investment bank with solid experience within a relevant sector / product
• A proven corporate finance execution TRACK RECORD within relevant sector / product in MENA/GCC markets
• Solid M&A and ECM experience and/or extensive relevant product / sector specialisation
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results under pressure and to deadlines
• An excellent team player with developed marketing skills and potential to build relationships within Abu Dhabi market
• Individuals with execution experience within relevant sector / product BUT no MENA exposure WILL NOT be considered
• Individuals with existing client relationships, pure originators BUT no execution track record WILL NOT be considered (Arabic speakers not essential)
