Description:
A premier financial institution headquartered in Doha – Qatar, with local and international Sharia’a compliant investment banking operations is seeking to expand with the addition of experienced corporate financiers to support the origination of its business.

The expansion is part of a larger build which will encompass a Principal Investment team, and Asset management business both public and private, structured along the lines of an international investment bank. The operation has locked in capital seeded by some of the largest financial institutions in the region. Management is of international caliber with a track record of building and managing successful businesses.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may have 8+ years experience gained at a top tier sell side institution / top ranked local investment bank with experience in building and managing teams
• A proven corporate finance track record within relevant sector / product
• Exposure to international deals and consolidated international work experience
• Solid M&A and ECM experience
• An excellent team player with developed marketing skills and client base within MENA/GCC
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results under pressure and to deadlines
• Relationships within MENA/GCC markets are preferable
• Fluency in Arabic is preferable
• Individuals with no experience in the MENASA region but with dedicated sellside experience WILL NOT be considered
• Individuals with experience in the MENASA region and a track record of sellside transactions but no experience in building and managing teams WILL be considered
