Description:
An international bulge bracket with a developed multi asset class emerging markets / MENA / GCC presence and an existing fully fledged MENA / GCC investment banking platform in Dubai is seeking to expand its operations and commitment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the addition of an experienced corporate financier to support the origination of its KSA business.

The bank has deployed local sector/product silos in Dubai, and has an established clientele and a track record in corporate finance advisory in the region.

The individual will leverage the existing relationships of the franchise and deliver the products of the bank to the KSA market. This roll out is part of the bank’s commitment towards hub and spoke structure with a Dubai based sector / product execution platform and regional local coverage, to penetrate the Corporate /Financial Institution / SWF clients of the KSA market.

The individual will be located in Riyadh and directly report to the Global Head of Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) Investment Banking Division in London.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may be flexible to be based in Riyadh, KSA
• 12+ years experience gained at a top tier sell side institution / top ranked local investment bank with solid experience within a specific sector / product in corporate finance advisory
• Proven corporate finance TRACK RECORD within relevant sector / product
• Proven TRACK RECORD within origination of Corporate / Financial Institution / SWF relationships (Transferring clients is not essential)
• Exposure to international deals and consolidated international execution work experience, and knowledge of the MENA / GCC markets
• Experience in Sharia’a compliant products is a plus
• Individuals with existing experience as MDs in international sellside institutions with a proven track record in corporate finance advisory, managing teams and originating deals BUT with no experience in MENA markets WILL BE considered (with Arabic speakers of elevated interest)
• Individuals with existing client relationships in MENA, pure origination BUT no execution track record in corporate finance advisory within any relevant sector / product expertise WILL NOT be considered
