Director/Vice President/Senior Associate, Structured Finance, CIS Investment Bank, Moscow

A CIS Investment Bank is seeking to expand its structured finance capabilities in Russia by adding a Director, Vice President or Senior Associate to its Moscow team

Requirements:

Exposure to structured credit transactions in Russia and CIS markets
Strong execution skills including the ability to negotiate loan agreements and understand covenants
Experience of English law as it is applied to the loan market and familiarity with Russian law and the tradeoffs between the two is essential, thus a background in law is preferable
Knowledge of capital market products, including at least a basic understanding of bond and equity mechanics, vanilla derivatives and structured products
A proven track record within lending
Fluency in Russian is required

Responsibilities:

Will be involved in structuring credit transactions in Russia and CIS markets focusing on Bilateral Corporate Lending and Credit Derivative Products
Lead transaction due diligence, industry and business valuation analyses, commercial negotiations and legal work
Participate in internal execution processes, involving preparation of investment materials for credit and risk committee approvals
Analyse financing opportunities across a broad spectrum of industries and jurisdictions. Develop investment structures and negotiate transaction terms with client counterparts
Establish and maintain direct relationships with senior target clients
