An international Blue Chip Hedge Fund with a leading Emerging Markets franchise is seeking an outstanding candidate with regional experience to join its Emerging Markets Special Situations teamDescription:
The Emerging Markets team is responsible for running a number of strategies across EMEA and LATAM regions making discretionary investments in unique opportunities.
The successful candidate will be primarily focussing on opportunities in the Russia/CIS geography. The individual will be based in London with frequent travel to the relevant regions
Requirements:
- Strong numerical skills gained on an analyst training programme at a top tier
investment bank - Experience gained at a Special Situations / Principal Investments Team or a Private Equity / Special Situation Fund a strong plus
- Significant deal exposure in the relevant regions strongly favored
- An ideal candidate is a Russian language speaker with local execution experience
- Individuals with purely M&A / Leveraged Finance experience from a top tier investment AND very strong regional business awareness WILL be considered
