Junior Hedge Fund Trader, Multi-Asset Class Hedge Fund, London
A recently established International Fund focusing on multiple asset classes is looking to add a junior Trade Assistant to its London operations- 1 to 2 years experience gained at a Top-tier Global Investment Bank
- Trade Support / Trade Assistant experience
- Understanding of trading strategies in cash and derivatives
- Knowledge of derivative strategies
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with MatLab

BSc in Economics/Engineering/ Mathematics from top tier UK/US university (1st class achieved) is preferred
Key responsibilities will include:
- Trade capture, confirmations and reconciliation with Internal Systems and counterparties
- Daily cross check internal MTM with Brokers and check of global cash flows and settlements
- Providing timely information of trades/risk reports for related Portfolio Manager queries

Providing related research to Portfolio Managers
Additional Responsibilities
- Providing a variety of trade related reports
- Investigating various trades, settlements and reset issues
- Testing & implementing new controls and architecture enhancements
- Post trade query support and liaison with Trade Assistants across different offices
