Vice President, Private Equity Fund, Riyadh
A leading Private Equity firm focusing on the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Turkey region is seeking to add an investment professional to its Saudi Arabia based investment team, to focus on transactions within the countryResponsibilities:
- Assist senior management in the origination and sourcing of investment targets, building a pipeline of possible opportunities
- Lead junior members of the team through the execution process, including carrying out due diligence and structuring and negotiating of investments
- Work with entrepreneurs, company management, and advisors to negotiate and close transactions
- Manage an extensive portfolio of current investments to exit
- Support and monitor partner companies in their strategic and financial growth plans, including the potential to serve as a board member or board observer
- 6 - 10 years' experience with a top tier investment bank or private equity / venture capital fund
- Strong technical background, with prior experience in emerging markets working on cross-border transactions
- Preferably MBA/ MS Finance
- Fluency in Arabic is preferable
- Strong network of investors and entrepreneurs in the country of location
- Solid understanding of the economy, business landscape, political situation in the country of location
