Requirements:

• The ideal candidate may have 5+years gained at a top tier sell-side institution/buy-side institution

• Experience in strategy work
• Familarity with South African market EMEA/Global Emerging Markets ability to work across many departments and business lines and interact with senior managers
• Alternatively a senior equity research analyst with a developed Emerging Markets client franchise interested in South Africa and equity strategy, will be considered

• Reporting to Head of CEEMEA Research

• Analyse key macro, socio-economic, micro trends affecting South African market
• Formulate and present thematic research which will have a direct impact on investment decisions and outcomes
• Analyse and present data from various sources to draw investment conclusions
• Present investment ideas to key clients of the firm: GEM/EMEA Hedge Funds and Long Only Institutions
• Support other businesses globally by providing insight into key trends in South African Market
